Thoughts and Prayers for those in need

Prayers for a family that just lost their 16 yr old son in an accident. Prayers especially for his younger brother. They lost their father three years ago and now the oldest son is gone.

 

That is a terrible blow. Praying for the survivors in the family.

 

On list Woodwidow but that is a heart breaker

This is a long, long read, but so worth it. Sometimes we don't understand why things happen to us, but Travis explained his experience mighty well.
This really touched my heart...

My heart just breaks for this family. Travis Greene of Gray, Georgia was diagnosed with brain cancer as he was planning his wedding with his fiancé. While hospitalized that January of 2017, doctors wouldn’t share any medical updates with Mikayla because they weren’t married. Within a few hours, they had a wedding ceremony with their pastor in the hospital chapel. Yes, Travis Greene and Mikayla Sparks Greene were united in marriage at Navicent Medical Center in Macon and hospital staff came together for them to provide everything needed. Later, in April they had their big wedding with attendants.
Fast forward to 2019, Travis’ cancer was diagnosed as Glioblastoma. (I’ve lost two cousins to the same type of cancer.). Travis’ wife and his brother’s wife were due to have babies this summer. Their mother died from cancer two weeks ago. Travis became a father and was able to hold his baby girl three days ago. Today, he was healed of his cancer and is now in heaven. Reading about his positive attitude and witness for Christ in the face of death is nothing short of amazing. May we all look at life each day as a gift from God and use what He has given to us to make a difference for His Kingdom!

I don't post a lot about my feelings or what's going on in our lives. It's hard for me, I cry pretty much every time and yall know I don't like being a crybaby. Well today, I sucked it up for this because it's worth sharing with the world. I know it's long but I promise you, it's worth the time:
Trav always says, "This happened to me because people who haven't opened a Bible or prayed in years are now praying daily for me." Everyone always wants to know how he's feeling well here's your answer; he feels blessed and honored to be a part of God's plan to bring people closer to him.
Yes, we got an amazing report in Chicago from the doctors but what you all don't know is the lives that Trav touched sitting in the airport waiting to come back home:
A kind man asked what his Optune device was and yall know that was all it took for Trav to go into his whole journey so far. It started with one man asking a question and next thing we knew 3 other men joined in the conversation. By the end of the conversation one of the men told Trav with tears in his eyes, "I've had a lot going on in my life and kept thinking 'poor, pitiful me' but talking to you just completely changed my life. Your outlook on life is incredible and you have changed me forever." He also came up with a bumper sticker for Trav, "It doesn't matter what's in your head, as long as Jesus is in your heart."

It was such a humbling and amazing experience. I already knew how amazing my husband was but to see him touch complete strangers this way was one of the most beautifully, breathtaking experiences of my life. I don't know how I'm so blessed to have such an incredible husband but I sure am thankful for him❤

Stepson, his wife, and kids are now evacuating. Fires are getting to close to house in Azusa, CA. Some prayers for all those people out there would be appreciated.
