I hear ya on that one. The saw companies provide bullet proof directions on start up, it's all on one page, pictures included. You and I know the saw comes right out of the box and onto the tailgate, gassed and pull cord.
http://desmoines.craigslist.org/zip/4555748060.html Another genius I just noticed....Someone else even took a pic of him cutting up the stuff wearing shorts/sneakers. Dude's whiter than I am in January too I don't care if its 90 degrees with high humidity (my working limit) sometimes I don't wear a t shirt but never wear shorts & don't go without steel toed boots/safety glasses/ear plugs.
I keep them, then forget where I put them, so I download a manual and keep a back up copy. Has saved my butt many times.
I here ya, I had drawers full manuals and folders on the shelf in the woodshop finally went and bought a big hanging folder box, everything in one place, labeled, man!! It is easy to find some manual when I need it now. On top of that I download a manual for everything I have, usually before I get it, Brandy new or used
There has been several times when I have asked folks buying a chainsaw or weed eater if they remembered to get some mixing oil. You would think they would have the mixing oil right next to the 2 cycle engines.
