We just got home from 5 days in Lake of the Ozarks Missouri at the Grand America National Trap shooting competition. This is usually held in Sparta Illinois but due to the COVID problem it had to be moved. It was a 8 1/2 hour drive to get there but we had a great time. The first 3 days are dedicated to the youth program for kids 22 and younger. Alex shot Doubles and handicaps on Sunday and then singles on Monday and Tuesday. The end result was he earned runner up in his division on doubles and actually tied for first but we didn’t think he was in the running so we left. If we would have stayed, he would have been in a shoot off for first place. He was still Very happy with the outcome. This is the biggest event in the Nation and to to get second among the best in the Nation is a great achievement for someone that just started shooting last year!
Wow!! John, you can be very proud. Judy and I can hardly believe how much Alex has matured! Please tell him how proud we are of him.
