Judy and I were blessed just a bit ago when riding on our golf cart a woodcock walded out in the lane about 10 yards ahead of us. Naturally we stopped and the little feller did his dance for us. We watched it for several minutes. Also, Judy shot another woodchuck. Good girl!
Never heard of one. When I read the thread title I was thinking it was a new breed of designer dog (half timber wolf, half poodle).
Backwoods Savage I am just wondering if it’s a good idea to refer to the beautiful wife as the ornery one.. that young lady is a sharp shooter!!
Neat little birds. We see them occasionally, but for the most part they are through here when they are migrating.
At my last place we had lots of Woodcock around. Sat many evenings in the spring listening to and watching their territorial flight routines. Love the way they jive when they walk.
