    You couldn't tell that we have these watches on, I just cooked some steaks on the grill and it's nice out but the storms do come quicker on a body of water.

    I was with my wife fishing by the Long Sault Control Dam when we heard a rumble in the sky, once I heard the second rumble we pulled in the fishing lines and we headed for the boat ramp. The little 50 hp had just enough that we made it to Cat Island Shoal when we saw pitch dark with lightning coming at us but by the time we were loaded up and going, it hit. I hope she listens to your advice.

    Her boyfriend will!!

    I was on lake Champlain with a 27’ cabin cruiser when a squall came over from lake placid. Radio blew up with pan pans. I swear every sailboat on lake capsized... :jaw:

    I grabbed a bunch near me and made port when coast guard gave me hell for being overloaded.:picard:

    The St.Lawrence can get bad but I'm sure Lake Champlain is much worse, not even a thank you for saving people. :loco: :crazy:

    15min west of us woods and i called my buddy who watched the micro burst take the roof off a church and throw it on the General store. Nobody hurt but Wow! They are still on scene.
    We are getting it big right now.:whistle:

    I'm glad nobody is hurt. We drove north of here for a ice cream in Potsdam NY, Hannawa Falls NY which is south of Potsdam had some tree damaged with heavy rains and Potsdam had heavy rains just before we arrived so we were the first customers for ice cream but that changed fast.

    We're still at 81 degrees and you can't even tell we had some hard rain overnight. I see a Tornado Warning south of Saranac Lake moving northeast.

    Was at the cottage so it passed south of me. Between Loon and I. The area around our cottage got hit pretty good by some micro-burst a couple years ago. Cottage and property there was fine but it messed up one of our hunting property's pretty bad.

    Glad your safe! We have microbursts almost every Jan/Feb. Many roofs here torn off, blew out a window on our house and damaged my once in a lifetime 16' sliding glass door wall :( Kiddo and I were sitting at my desk right next to the slider wall, I cannot believe the windows did not burst, the flexed in like 3" :hair::hair:

    Wow, yet another thunderstorm! Wind is not b ad at all but it actually dumped rain here :ups: Too cloudy to see the actual lightening bolts but I could still see the flashes of light. It's moving SE from us, sun from the west is already coming back:)
