Hit 83* today at the house, too freaking hot. Humid too. Showing 74% right now. Not often I can pull a glassfull of water off the kitchen spigot and it's sweating before I have time to drink it all down! "Down" to 78* now, almost 9PM. Slept even worse than normal last night, house was about 75* and just sticky. I know most of you guys are laughing but I live in Alaska for a reason!
Does a ceiling fan count? Very rare to have A/C in a house around here. Maybe in Fairbanks where it gets in the 90s at times.
Yep, kinda of like Florida having heaters in their house....rare but,...we'll keep cool as possible...
Didn't there used to be a guy on here from Florida? Had a "heating season" of a couple days and still used wood.
I think Homo Deport and Lowe's carry a few I think. Not worth it for the couple days a year it's actually almost hot .
