I just read that Ford sold more rangers in quarter 2 of this year than any other midsize truck brand. Even sold more than Toyota sold Tacoma's.
Just saw a brand new Ranger ,out of the pasture, this morning on my way into shop. Scavenger that looks like a very nice ride.
Wait....that's the clean easy way? I'm covered in a home concoction of baking soda/Epson salt and dish soap right now. Not an itch to be had but I'm flaking!
They suggested the dish soap alone but decided to create the chemical combusion ive bathed myself in and if it cured what ales me then so be it. ..no harm in a bottle of wine for the inside...
Pretty much any good grease remover will remove the oil, like Dawn dish soap (I use mechanics hand cleaner) then once the oil is gone there are lots of remedies out there to dry up the blisters. No need to buy that overpriced Fels Naptha IMO.
depending on your internals you have apx 20 minutes to an hour to get ivy oil off and not get a immune reaction. Stories abound from never get reactions to my own which is not nice. It gets into my blood stream and I get covered with a rash ( like a heat rash) from head to toe and everywhere in between. 2 weeks of steroids to clear it up. My mom would get isolated ozing welts the size of a golf ball. Never seemed to affect my dad or sister. Been about 12 years since the last bout. Got it from my Gordon setter. On the other hand if my sister got stung by a bee or similar she would blow up like a balloon. Me- minor itch spot.
