Saw this in an email ad from Bailey's today. Looks useful especially when I almost always have a second saw with me "just in case". Anyone ever used one? Amazon reviews complain that it can slip and be chewed on by the chain. Wondering if that's an engineering flaw or user error.

I've got one, somewhere, used it a little...mighta thrown it out...save your money.

Build yourself an H buck, line up all the limbs and strap em down, couple cuts and your done.

Ive seen videos of one being using. Kinda nifty, but i wouldnt get one. Like DaveGunter said, make the jig and you'll be done. IMO reviews are from novice chain saw users, just my 2 cents though.

Just an opinion , but...You’d likely be better off buying a decent timberjack with a removable stand . That way you could also use it as a cant hook .
