Sure wish I knew a local mod with a big piece of leftover cant from a recent gtg......these gals need to eat.
It's too easy to get hooked on big saws. I love the 7900. I realize some may not think those are big, but an 80cc saw is no slouch.
I know of someone with a Cant left Only about 9 ft of one. No tree's or logs. But I wouldn't mind seeing some of you guys on Sunday.
Cory@Owen has a very good point above! On a yearly basis I repair/restore/sell quite a few saws large and small. Most of my customers are pro arborists or firewood suppliers. The saws I see most often are less than 60cc, I see lots of climbing saws because of the use factor in those saws, then ground/firewood saws 60+cc and lastly stump saws 80cc and above. I heat my shop with a wood stove and cut my own firewood, I use two different saws to do the cutting, a 1986 Husqvarna 61 that I have had since new and a Husqvarna 346OE that I rebuilt. A friend retired, moved to Florida and gave me a little green Poulan 50cc saw that I find myself going to a lot.
I don't even know (or care) what the cc's of my saws are. I just know they cut wood just fine. My main saw is 4 cylinders of diesel power. Haha!
Sweet line up. I'm going to have about 4 or 5 trees we are going to take down on Sunday at the Uncles.
I'm thinking he is going to Erics pretty early. He is gonna text me when he is coming through, I think
