Turned over 1000 miles shy of a day having her for a month. All is good. Two concerns.....there's a light strip on the upper dash over the steering wheel that comes on upon ignition and has scared the begeeves out of me while at about 60 mph and no other hindrances it decides to light up....at first I thought it was a radar detector....what is that? (I will dig into the owner's manual) and second how to talk your way out of a speeding ticket:emb:

I told you that Ecoboost had some snort.

I think the manual will tell you what you are looking for.

Not a word in manual about light strip. I'll message my salesman tomorrow.

Found out that my friend that doesn't like turbo charged engines ( IDK, he is wishy washy some time) said he test drove a new ranger crew cab and was very impressed with the power it had.

Then I told him that the new bronco which will be based on the new ranger will have a 2.7 twin turbo v6 and a 3.0 TT option on them. Those will really haul. If the bronco pickup looks good, I may be very tempted.

It will depreciate more in the first year than what all my vehicles are worth in total! :picard:

All the while, the lot you could buy for that will only go up in value.

If I had to sign the line for a vehicle that cost that much, the only "tremor" and "stroke" would be my own!

100000+ miles on my Escape I still do not know who that adaptive steering is/has adapted to. Same with automatic sensing 4wd- no controls for it and I do not think I have seen any indictor that it has/is engaged, I do know that it did at least once- but only after the fact as my speed abruptly increased due to loss of the extra drive train load. 2l turbo 2016 edition. I was not amused. Ticket- I am one of those that if I am doing the speed limit and the bulk of traffic is blasting past me I'd get a ticket for obstructing traffic. Conversely If I was keeping up with traffic again I would be the one on the side of the road with the pink slip. Catch 22

Thanks for the info but I'd hate to see what happens when I'm really in eminent danger....merely 60 on a straight away throw in a hill the size Ohio can muster and it scared me so bad I nearly lost control....more features for " my safety". And I honestly didn't think to pop a button for negotiations on the ticket....I'm losing my edge I guess...ha!

Naw you are fine it's those whipper snapper engineers with no background in how to drive without 1.1million do dads so they do not have to actually pay attention to what they are doing.

Hey...I tried a couple times to enter the FHC site and was stopped because of a privacy issue? Anyhow tonight no problem. My sales man says I can turn the feature off....just something else I shouldn't have had to pay for...picture is me breaking my own rule....cutting when it's over 75 degrees...I couldn't wait to load her down... 20200706_192547.jpg

We had problems for a bit, but we're up and running again. A major upgrade is in order.
