It's too easy to get hooked on big saws. I love the 7900. I realize some may not think those are big, but an 80cc saw is no slouch.

The 70cc class is my favorite...... complimented with a nice 50cc of course.

Cory@Owen has a very good point above! On a yearly basis I repair/restore/sell quite a few saws large and small. Most of my customers are pro arborists or firewood suppliers. The saws I see most often are less than 60cc, I see lots of climbing saws because of the use factor in those saws, then ground/firewood saws 60+cc and lastly stump saws 80cc and above.

I heat my shop with a wood stove and cut my own firewood, I use two different saws to do the cutting, a 1986 Husqvarna 61 that I have had since new and a Husqvarna 346OE that I rebuilt. A friend retired, moved to Florida and gave me a little green Poulan 50cc saw that I find myself going to a lot.

I don't even know (or care) what the cc's of my saws are.
I just know they cut wood just fine.
My main saw is 4 cylinders of diesel power. Haha!
