Well I think my nice afternoon is coming to an end. Took Holly up to the woods so she could check things out. Was sitting there reading bit watching the skies as this was creeping in. Starting to cool down a bit. Did have a 2 minute in shower earlier. Just heard a little thunder way off in the distant.

Well it is here. Temps dropped about 10* in about 10 minutes. Seen a couple good bolts but mostly Judy hearing the bowling alley rumble. I think it is time to go in.

    TRUE VALUE

The Hebrew midwives feared God and did not obey the king's request. Interestingly the Bible records the names of the midwives, but not the name of the Egyptian king. By worldly standards this doesn't make sense. Egyptian kings are far more "important" than Hebrew midwives. But people who are revered on earth don't necessarily possess the qualities that are celebrated by God.

It is so easy to crave validation, status, and notoriety for our kids. We are tempted to buy into our culture's definition of "success." God's plan for our kids, however, may not bring worldly fame. Even so we should rejoice because there is no greater blessing than raising kids who are faithful to their calling.

Are you encouraging your kids to be significant to the world, or to God?

Mornin peoples. Things are getting busy! Wifes new business is starting to take off in a hurry. In the past few days she has started getting lots of inquiries from preschools and Montessori type schools wanting to buy multiple kitchens as they need new things for the kids to do while being outside a lot more. I can pump out the kitchens twice as fast by myself as when I assist my wife with her building them, so it looks like I am going to be busy for a while.

Are the log legs working out for you? Do you treat the ends with any wood preservative? Funny, last year all I had were poles. IMG_20190923_112736820.jpg There are still some on the ground out there to scrounge, and there are some standing saplings that are the right diameter, but nothing like last year.
I'm glad your business is taking off! Outside activities are the way to go.

We arent treating the legs, we may start doing that though. They are working out great, thanks! The ones we are using the logs for are a "cheaper" one for smaller children. Most of those are based off pallets, so almost totally no lumber involved. I am going to try and get by there this afternoon, or tomorrow to grab the rest of the ones you have at the house.

Mud kitchens for kids to make mud pies and giant messes in the back yard.

Yes, I've been teaching my wife how to do it. The plan is for her to be able to at least assemble them herself once I get busy again with work. Her plans are to grow it locally, then be able to expand to shipping them everywhere and having employees to build them.

I've been pretty busy as a result! Nice profit margins though.

I remember those storms. Seemed like every afternoon, a wall of rain comes across, sun/heat/humidity to follow

    :faint:

Edit.. Is it actually possible to have 200% humidity? Sure felt like it.
