Similar to the one above I think. I'm hoping to add some sides, probably 2-3 feet tall. Plan to make them fairly easy on and off depending on what I need to haul. Probably should also shore up the floor with wood, the big rounds do a number on the mesh floor.
Stupid thing won’t let me post any pics, I cleared all my search history on my phone. It keeps telling me it’s a security issue.
That is a good looking rugged crew there Matt. They all yours, they look very close in age and the 2 on the ends almost look like twins.
Thanks yes they are all mine the one standing is 11 the ones on the ends are twins they are 8 and the one in the middle is the baby he's 6
The first trailer was a reclamation project (free to me) small utility trailer. It was given to me with a bent tongue, no deck, and 2 dry rotted tires/rusted out skinny 8" "highway type" wheels. About 10 - 12 years ago, I replaced the tongue, added the deck / sides, and did a bit of a conversion to the axle. By conversion I shortened the width of the axle and fabricated a "lift kit" so that it became a deck over type trailer. That gives it a narrower stance in the woods. Then I installed the old golf cart turf tires on it so that there is actually a bit more tire there than the skinny old type. We used to tow it behind a lifted ezgo golf cart. But now it gets used behind the tractor, Polaris Sportsman, or Kubota Sidekick. Granted it isn't for highway use, but it stays on our place and is very useful! The second one I actually rarely use for moving wood. But, it is my 18' equipment hauler. And, no, the load in the photos did not go on the road. I was just moving a bunch of wood on my sister-in-law's place for her. We also have a 12' x 7' single axle utility trailer w/ an 18" rail that we occasionally use for moving wood. But, I can't seem to find any firewood photos of that one ATM.
