I guess West Virginia is also open. My brother and his wife are going there for vacation this weekend. If I remember right it is up in the mountains someplace.

We just returned from Hyannis. I agree with the mask thing. I'll wear one, because I want to error on the side of caution.

There's port-o-johns, in most places where the public toilets are closed. Social distancing.

Where possible, restaurants have outside seating, under tents. It was an OK experience for us. But, we had perfect weather.

And overall, not a whole lot of people were around. The great white sharks, have returned to the waters of Cape cod., though.

He had a curfew also but that's lifted now for some reason?

I read something (cant link cause i dont remember where it was, but prob fox) about the possibility of anarchists showing up, maybe that's why. Hopefully they'll be enough young folks there to handle anything if they need to.

Gov Jan's idea of getting tested 72 hours before coming to Maine, or doing a 14 day quarantine at home... doesn't seem to be getting the hotel folks too excited. Most think people will either avoid the hassle, or lie about having quarantined at home. Not the fix she was hoping for I'll bet... :zip:... we're in uncharted waters now. Politics not adding much that's good on what and how to deal with CV-19. Unreal...

Sing It's a chitshow after all. in your head to the tune of "It's a Small World After All" & it all makes more sense.
Around here you'd never know anything was happening, tourist's & summer people everywhere, traffic's a pita & it's hot. I can't wait for Labor Day when they all leave.

Now we have people all over the state of Michigan painting murals all over the streets , highways and some buildings
since when did it become OK to deface private or public property ?

In addition the Department of Transportation should do something about this.
In the rain these painted surfaces are very slippery
If you ride a motorcycle this is common knowledge, I have slipped on painted areas myself on a bike, never went down but , it is a danger not just to motorcycles but to all vehicles also, but most people in cars will not realize this till it's too late.
Everyone knows what black ice is right? same scenario just not quite as bad as black ice, but bad enough

I can't wait for Labor Day when they all leave.[/QUOTE]

50% of plates on the road are out-of-state here, now. It's normal traffic for this time of year.

I also look forward to Labor Day.
