Looking to have my driveway sealed again and am looking for some recommendation for what brands give a satisfactory result. I have sealed my driveway about three times since in the last 15 years. First time I hired it done. Second time I did it. I bought a high grade airport sealer. That stuff flaked off in big to little bits. The fumes were so bad, it killed plants 4 feet away. Then I used some cheap stuff that didn't flake, didn't stink or kill my plants. It went down easy but a lot came off from snow plowing Like any other driveway, I do have cracks but no missing parts. What products have you had satisfactory results with?
honestly I never used it, I'm letting my asphalt driveway crumble up. The treehugger in me isn't a fan of the runoff contamination. But if I didn't care I'd just get the cheapest you can find and do it every year/ other year..
I used this the last time I sealed an asphalt driveway. https://www.menards.com/main/paint/...veway-sealer-filler/h5065/p-1444444994126.htm Took just under four buckets to do my drive. Seemed to hold up good for the three years before we moved. Have a concrete driveway here, so my asphalt sealing days are over for now. Can’t say I miss it - always wore shoes that were shot and jeans that were ready for the trash can. No matter how hard I tried I’d splatter that crap everywhere. Edit - accidentally pasted the link for the 53 gallon barrel of the same stuff the first time. Thank God I didn’t need 200 gallons to do my drive.
