He was finishing up a maple and brought it out. Here is maple load 1. His hoist would not lift it so we threw some out, I tried to help but his wife was throwing them off left and right. I was more in the way but got a few out.

Spit some wood last weekend, no pictures. Yesterday and today worked on the Goldwing trying to get the back brake working properly. Had already tried bleeding a couple times before with no luck but did some research and found out there 7 bleeder valves 2 for the front and 5 for the back plus a procedure doing it. Fluid was past due so flushed the fluid and now looking like brakes are good to go. May take it out tomorrow and give it a test run. Hope to split some wood, but almost an inch of rain today so could be to muddy for that. Plan on listing the bike for sale as well.

After sitting on my shelf for close to two years I fired it up today. All I can do to get it started. Picked up the Cross MMWS top-end for it and huskihl did the finishing touches as well as rebuild the bottom end. Was helping an arborist on a big maple and he sounded interested in purchasing this saw when it had the melt down. Still "camera shy" for lack of better words on running it.
May get it in wood tomorrow or Monday.
    Happy Memorial Day all.

Didn't fire up the saw, but did split some of Edwin's wood. Will be heading up to parents place in Greeley, NE. to give them a hand on a few chores. Also going to see what I can do with their apple tree, at first thought it was split but turns out it is two trees grown together, but no spreading at the trunk. He's got a strap around the limbs, but that is not going to work much longer. May also finish an elm tree trunk, took the rest of the tree down a few years ago.

Thank you, tend to be unorganized most days. Went to parents today but no tree work because of rain so did some inside chores for them. Will head back up in a few weeks to do some trimming. Hope everyone had an enjoyable day today.

Spent part of the morning helping Lefty get a bolt 22" 3/4" in to a person's split ash tree. He still needs to get eye-bolts so we can cable up the stems about 15' up for support.

After that I split some more wood for Edwin. Be glad when it's done so I can go back to OUR wood. About 88f temp when done.

Make sure Lefty leaves a sign telling any future cutters the tree contains metal. I sure would hate to hit that with a saw! :picard:

Well, the Goldwing has a happy new owner. Hope he enjoys it. Took it for a quick spin to fuel it up and give it a test ride after it has sat for a few years. Oh, what a great bike! Still have the smile from riding it, but glad it is sold and will get ridden.

I’ve never owned a bad Honda. From cars to bikes, everything I had was dead reliable. Hopefully the new owner rides your old bike all the time and appreciates it. That’s a nice bike to really tour around on.

Picked up some sugar, hard (?) maple this morning. Picture made it look like it was a downhill run for loading, NOT. The trunk, 32" tall by 22", is still there but ran out of steam. May run by tomorrow and get it.
