HOORAY! Great to see you in hoarding action again! Has he had a GTG there this Spring? I know it was cancelled/postponed due to covid!

 

i know you were pressed for space Ohio dave ? Do you use a car/SUV to hoard? Cant remember.

WeldrDave Dave, me and MikeInMa. Mini ones are certainly easier to arrange. We gotta come down and see you in CT sometime this summer. Or get you up to Winchester. Dave's only there thru Monday this time, but he'll be back a lot.

 

Not only do you need a splitter but now a trailer. Good job Molly.

Oh Chit... Now that'd make for an "interesting" evening.

 

This stuff is dead easy to split. A trailer would be handy if the driveway wasn't steep and rocky.

 

Well tell Dave that he needs to work on his driveway so you can get in there with a trailer.

 

Catch-22... the excavator will fix the driveway, but he's taking the rest of the wood.

Yup, those things are made out of alotta raw materials that a crafty firewood hoarder can work with!

I sold about 3 cords in the last month. Not bad considering I've been out of town for 2 wks.
Mostly a trailer. But if its not much back of the Yukon xl. Or if trailer is full it goes in SUV

 

I caught up with WeldrDave and Chrissy this morning. There is quite a bit more on the ground, but he says 50 more trees must fall! If anyone local has a hankering to do some cutting, he could use some help in the next month or so. Also, free wood to be had!
He gave me this beautiful straight black birch. He was going to keep it for his personal stash, but found 6 or 8 more that need to come down.

I'll do my best but there is way more wood than I can hoard!

I was in Nashua hunting for pallets today, swung by your house around 2:00 and I just knew you were out st Dave's when I saw you wernt home.

Yes, for some of the mud kitchens. I found a few that will work. Not normal 4x6 pallets, so it takes some extra work.

We built Charlotte a huge mud kitchen about 3 years ago. She still uses it a ton, and loves it.

 

Another day, another load. Farm stand on the way opened up! I ate some of the strawberries in the car.
