The fun doesn't stop. The washing machine won't pump out the water anymore. I also don't think it's spinning the water out.

It's old, but obviously well built enough that it lasted as as it did. Could be a couple of things apparently. I don't mind replacing it, I just don't like that the newer models don't seem to last as long.

I wonder if my appliance discount from my old employer still works...

It looks like it could be a few different things wrong with it.

I just offered the 5th wheel to a previous coworker of mine, she (and family) live in Portland. She said they are packed and ready to bug-out if needed, Antifa is setting up another "autonomous zone" there :picard:

Strange, same thing happened to mine last week. Transmission stripped all its gears. New one from HD was delivered Tuesday. The last 3 washing machines I purchased were front loaders and cost big bucks. I was on a cistern and saved a lot of water. This one is an old fashioned top loader and only cost $428.

I'd definitely look into fixing the old one, even if it costs almost as much as a new replacement, it will definitely last longer!

I think I am going to drag my top loader out of the laundry room and disassemble it and give the tub a good cleaning. It came with the house, and gets a bit of a funky smell every so often. Need to get the crap out.

Our power was restored yesterday around 5:30 and the air cleared out about the same time. It is really nice out now except for the wind. Love the cooler air for sure.

we had beautiful cool dry air here yesterday. As soon as the sun dropped below the trees in my yard it was down to 60F in a hurry. This morning is a different story. 57F and 97% humidity this morning. It was supposed to rain most of they day, looks like its changed to this evening now.
