I forgot about that. Soon it will be legal here, NYS needs money so they'll pass it.

Spot and Rainey really wanted to get close up and personal with a squirrel at the bird feeder (out of pics - to side of porch). Although they like to watch, the interest and activity level in trying to get out has rarely been this strong. Spot is the one on the door while Rainey stays closer to the ground. No Spot doesn't do back flips while on the "balance beam", she does do twirls and always, I mean always, sticks the landing.

The squirrel is on the feeder just out of sight,to the right of the door frame (hanging from the post you can just see)

Well, we applied to adopt a rescue dog from a pretty reputable local foster organization. The dog has been available since April, which is a little unusual. She checked the boxes as far as getting along with cats and older kids. Pretty smart too, knowing about 10 commands or so.

We did hear back and we are not a good fit due to the dog being very leash reactive towards some people and other dogs. We were even willing to work with a trainer and install a fenced in area. So no dice. This was the first dog in a year that looked like a good fit for all of us. The search continues with no rush.
