I got stuck in my flat backyard several years ago. The ground was frozen solid, except for the top 1", and I had about 3000 lbs of firewood in the bed. I stopped to back up to the pile and didn't get going again. Had to leave it overnight and let it freeze again.

Do you have access to a winch or second vehicle to pull you out if needed? How picky is the homeowner about the lawn? You may get out but if you have to turn the lawn into Browntown it might not be worth it.

Its my step daughter. The yard was too soft back in April. Cherry picker was delivered and a bit too soft for the outriggers. He took it out. I think it was an F250/350 and he did okay. Ive since got a ball hitch for my F150 so i dont need to pay delivery if i rent the CP.

Mine is a diesel and on ice or mud it can smoke the brakes by the time you realize you’re slipping. We’ve replaced the rear brakes three or four times and fronts only once in 100k miles.
