I'll take just one - no PPE.

Would be nice to see what the wire/rope is attached to at the other end.

I’m not a fan of ladders mixed with chainsaws. Especially when they are set up to fling me over the moon :)

He should tie off the ladder so it won't slip off the tree. Maybe a Husky saw?

The biggest thing I see wrong is it's a picture and not a video.

On YouTube, do a search for "idiots with chainsaws". You'll find a lot of this.

Is that not legit? I did that twice today before 6 am. I don’t see a problem?

If anyone needs to get a hold of me I’m at North Suburban Hospital in room 326...

It's hard to tell from the photo but he'll be here bitching about his EPA stove when he tries to burn this wood in it without adequate seasoning.

Technically what he’s doing is very dangerous but there is some brass ball logic to it.
He’s got a tight cable on it so it can’t fall back. Cut a thick hinge, remove ladder and pull the tree over. Certainly not OSHA approved but he’s gettin it done. I’m no longer that brave. May have tried it years ago, no more.

    Pine box?
If you're gonna pull it over anyway, make the felling cut at the base from the ground.

Here's missing a beer in one "free" hand and a stogie in his mouth.

OMG,. Let's instead see what he's doing " correctly". That might be more difficult.

He's even cutting on the top of the bar, making it wanting to Chuck the saw away from him. Maybe that's his safety fallback when the tree trunk drops and his ladder falls?

    LMAO. Good one cash?
Tried calling, phones busy, must be lots of widow makers out there, business is booming :)

OK I got one. Bottom left of the ladder has a nice geek in it. $1000 OSHA fine. Tabs getting big.
