All of them here also. I remember when a rocket was going up they wheeled a TV into our grade sho0ol classes and we all watched. Big deal back then.
I didn't watch all of them, although I probably heard my mother watching the first one in 1962 - it wasn't too long before my 0th birthday.
Never got to see them at school myself. I've rarely seen the launches live, just during evening news. I did see the Challenger disaster live though
Trying a social distancing playdate for kiddo. School. Sidewalk chalk. All dirt/gravel there but there is a large cement patio poured that at some point had a basketball hoop. Each of the 3 little girls will get their own circle to draw in and must stay in. Too bad no hugging
Knowing how Elon Musk works, I think he purposely delayed the launch yesterday to today so that more people would watch it. Yeah, he's got a big ego to feed. Super smart guy, but he does a few things that just makes me cringe.
It was all cool and fun until the Challenger disaster happened. I recall that vividly. I wasn't around for the first few either Chaz . No shame in that
BTW, I've got a really nice buzz going on. I've had 2 electric lemonade punch pints and now a nice wife made margarita. We're going to watch the first race of MotoAmerica Superbike race season from our local track Road America on TV. This weekend was supposed to be the weekend when we ALWAYS go to the races to start summer off. This weekend though, due to Covid19, is run without spectators. The races that we'll be able to attend are now at the end of June. RA has never hosted 2 rounds of Superbike race weekends, so I think it will be a good thing. Oh yeah, my wife is making her awesome sausage, morel, roast garlic, and caramelized onions pizza for dinner. Yes, homemade crust too.
