    DAY 65

    Starting to get some nice summer weather here. Removed the plastic from the screen porch and now that's ready for summer.

    Neighbors from Florida showed up last week; have only said "Hi" and talked a bit but from our yard to their yard.....no welcome back hugs this year.

    Lake was busier than heck this past weekend due to the warm weather. Seems everyone had the idea of getting a pontoon, drinking and being loud.

    Mighta been from down here. This place was a zoo this weekend, even with the state park camping closed. Only two more holiday weekends & they all leave again!

    To be fair, they said on the local news that the violence did not come from the group of people that had been protesting peacefully all day...those protesters were yelling at the troublemakers trying to get them to stop and leave...sounds like some thug punks were just looking for an opportunity...which seems to happen way too much in the big cities...

    I imagine there are some peaceful protesters (I say "imagine" because Im not watching any coverage of the events). I also imagine some of the "peaceful" ones are just there buying time till they want to act. And then there are the real POSs that show up just to destruct and act like fools. Need to get some crop dusters and batch mix a bunch of tear gas and spray for effect....
