Good job on the floor install, Dave. 3 days not bad for whole house. I've done a few floors and metal roofs, found sore muscles I didn't know I had......
Got to 90 yesterday and was really sticky. Foolishly I did not turn the air on and it stayed sticky through the night but is better this morning.
Been mudding drywall the past couple evenings. I suck at it...and hate it. I think I'm going to hire out the rest of this, but need to finish what I started.
Turns out that the cable tv office is closed today. Normally, I would call first, but since this is Spectrum we're dealing with, they have removed the local listing for the telephone number. No matter, I'll try again once the tail gate is ready for pickup (see what I did there?? )
I can't say, they did just mention a few minutes ago that the weather looked good for the 2:30 launch.
Yes i was and same as the 2 towers. Weather forecast for historic SpaceX launch of NASA astronauts worsens, but officials remain optimistic
Came in to work for a few hrs this evening to mow before the possible rain tomorrow. Just a few acres to go lol.
The Lord will fight for you By Linda Buxa The player on the bench couldn’t believe the ref’s call. In the universal gesture of “Are you kidding me?” he raised both arms and looked absolutely surprised. After the game, his dad pulled him aside and told him, “Don’t show your frustration. If it’s worth fighting about, your coach will fight for you.” That’s the same advice Moses gave to the Israelites. Just after they had finally been delivered from Egyptian slavery, they found themselves pinned between the advancing army and the Red Sea. As the people were complaining about their situation, Moses told them, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:13,14). We often think the world is pinning us down, leaving us with no options. We grumble and complain because we don’t see exactly how a tough situation is going to work out. It’s as if we forget that we worship a God who is able to part the sea—both literally and proverbially. We worship the God who promises that he will find a way to make the battle you are facing work for your good, for our good, or God’s glory. Be still. He’ll fight for you.
