Gatherings of 10 people or less are now permitted, starting immediately, as long as participants practice social distancing, the governor’s office announced.

Starting Friday, May 29, health care providers can perform nonessential medical, dental, and veterinary procedures, and starting Tuesday, May 26, retail businesses and auto dealerships across the state will be allowed to operate via appointment only. Retail businesses and auto showrooms are limited to 10 people inside at a time.

Oh yeah. When I saw that statement it scared me. Why do people think government will solve problems? Seems they make more than they solve. Keep things in private hands as much as possible.

Haven’t been here in a couple weeks . The other Covid thread disappeared. Guessing it got the axe from a few comments I’ve seen.
Infected #s here have been very low through this whole thing. Last weekend and early week saw an explosion in #s for some reason in this county and a neighboring one.

Maine's are going up too... maybe the added number of tests they're now able to do?

That's why you need to look at the percentage of price to negative tests. As the amount of tests goes up, so will the number that have it.

Our testing here in my state is kinda of the forefront due to the amount of labs here. Not all states have the amount of throughput that we have.

I have made some comments during my life time that I thought (hoped) would be funny and got in trouble for them. I can only expect that any politician would then say "it was meant as a joke" just to CYA.

But it makes me wonder just how many times that same line was used (I'm the governors spouse) and has worked ? I mean, just why else would you say something like that??? :picard:

Well, they do have different last names it appears!

Is it traditional for men to take their wife's last name if she is in politics? :rofl: :rofl:
