Was cutting wood a few days ago and dumped bar oil in both the bar oil AND gas tank! Doh!! Heard about guys doing and wondered how but quickly found out...it’s just a simple mind lapse.

next is I have my pool open and my owb still running. Had the heater fan on for about an hour this morning because it was 65 and we’re all home.

I filled up the fuel tank on my MS460 a while ago and forgot to cap it. I flipped the saw over on my tailgate, and the fuel spilled out all over the bed of my truck. The whole tank emptied before I realized what I’d done. Chit happens.

I filled the gas and oil on the 261 yesterday. Got a phone call and while I was talking flipped the saw up and carried the jug of bar oil back in the shop. Came back to a puddle of oil on the tailgate.:headbang:  :headbang:

Said it before on a similar post. There are days I will do that two or three times. Just run into “senior moments”. Occasionally have a “Depends moment” when things go haywire.

just yesterday I was welding parts that had to be wiped down with acetone just before the weld was made. At one point I soaked the wiping rag with coffee from my thermos.

Same. I think its because I run out of gas so I have that on my mind.

I just did the opposite, poured gas in the oil tank....realized it as I was doing it. Dump and refill.

I always do oil first in everything. Can't cause any damage by forgetting to fill the gas.

I loaned a neighbor some gas, helped her put WWW's premixed gas into her gas tank :picard: Honestly it took both of us to get it in her tank using the darned no spill spigot, that was actually a lot funnier

Same here, gas first. I really don't why I do it that way since I rarely run it completely out before refilling.
Like when I open my cigarette pack I always start taking from the left side of the pack for no particular reason.
