    Still managed to get some good Maple and some punky Alder hauled to the rounds stack. I keep putting off getting the splitter out but I suppose it’s just a matter of time unless it splits itself.

    Nice day. Not ideal firewood making weather IME. Nothing like that here yet. It was 36 yesterday morning when i poured my coffee. A hummingbird popped in for some nectar outside the kitchen window. It was a New England hummingbird...had a sweater. I went cutting and SS later on!

    Look at the moss growing on all that! I guess that's par for the course when you live in a temperate rain forest. Is it a struggle there to season firewood without it getting moldy?

    Depends on the type of Summer weather we have. If it’s not split/stacked too early and put under cover before the fall rains hit, it isn’t too bad.
