This ash broke off in a wind gust a few weeks ago. Kinda barber chaired between 2 other trees in the clump. It was right on the property line and the neighbor said go for it before they plant corn. Had to work it from both sides the fencerow to get it down to cutting height. Should make 3/4 cord.
Nice work getting it down and staying safe farmer steve , last tree I had like that was a good size Hemlock after some high winds and yes, it puckered.
Nice job, good work done. Glad you got it down safely with the tractor. Equipment sure makes a tough job easier.

Well done. Looks a bit scary to take down, but on the ground and a nice haul for you. Not having equipment, i wouldve had to let it stay as is until it fell on its own. Did the 261 "double dawg" work this one?
That did look like a tangled up mess. But I see those rounds in the bucket all nice and neat. Good job.
