Should we make a concerted effort to NOT buy from China?

So I was able to view this on Chrome then...thanks!
That's a disturbing list of foods...even if you can avoid food items that were imported from china at the grocery store, I wonder how many fast food restaurants get some of their stuff from there? Especially chinese food places...but American places too, like McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc, etc...seems like all these places are scrimping for every last penny...I would bet they import some stuff!

Those places here in the USA have huge magnifier critics looking into anything and everything to play got ya. I doubt they can pass gas without someone writing them up. That said, you know what is in what you are buying, do you still want it? Limited amounts maybe, but not a diet of it. I urge everyone to use their local butcher shops and farmer's markets. They need your support, you need the safety and quality of what they have to sell. Look around for co ops, can be your best bet.

I just bought a new kinetic bullet puller for reloading, its blue plastic in color, comes with 3 different aluminum rings and O rings, i KNEW they were chinese made, but, for 12.99 and free shipping i thought why not. My old stand by RCBS puller worked for over 30 yrs until the aluminum 3 piece ring finally gave up. The new one came, and i tried it out yesterday, not good. Every bullet i pulled resulted in me getting a small shower of powder every time i succeeded in pulling the bullet. Not so with the original RCBS puller. The new part for the RCBS puller is 11 bucks, i'll be calling today to see if i can get the replacement parts for the RCBS puller. Even the replacement o rings on the blue import were cheap, junk, you could tell just by looking at them. I'm not sure if the RCBS puller is still made in the USA, but, i'm about to find out. So, for me, i'll do ALL i can to NOT buy any chinese made items. You bet i'll probably pay a little more, BUT, to us, its worth it to keep from buying from a slave nation.

Yes. Better yet...make a concerted effort to buy USA Made products when available.

Want a wake-up call? Search 'How much land does China own in USA'.

Make no mistake, we are at War, not with a virus, not with guns blazing...we are in an Economic War.

Do your Nation a favor and stay out of Harbor Freight. Or, keep on 'saving' a few bucks and undermining your homeland...totally your choice.

Great advice right there! Thank you Larry. We have an awesome meat market nearby. We buy 90% of our meat there. We have a smokehouse too, they have awesome food there! There are lots of farms that sell their produce as well. We are very fortunate.

To me this shows how lazy, corrupt and just plain stupid our politicians are. Isn’t this the kind of thing they should be taking care of? Get some shady deals, make some cash and then let China do whatever they want.

We can't fix the harm that was done, but now that we know what is going on, we are obligated to be watchful to prevent it from happening again. Our most influential vote is when we spend our dollars. Shop right, Pay attention. Left sitting on the self send the strongest message. Some stores have controls for removing items that don't sell in a certain time frame. I have said it before, ask the manager for USA made or Canada.

What we say to the store manager will have limited effect, but leaving the cheap imports on the shelf always works.
