Well, I had some other interesting places, but the autocensor here at the website wouldn't allow it!

Received an email yesterday from Fallon's Home & Hearth saying they were reopening today. Showroom for stove sales is by appointment, rest of operation moved to warehouse for social distancing. Went by so I could get my order in for pellets. Price for the Vermonts is still $310/ton, Supreme Northern Warmth Doug Fir went up $20 to $395.
Got 3 tons of Vermonts, 1 of the SNWDF (still have 2-1/2 ton of those left). Was pleasantly surprised when sales woman said they'd be delivered in 2-3 weeks (figured it'd be Sept/Oct) and that they are only delivering on weekends right now. Not that I'm doing anything during the week now anyway:beerbbq:

Thank you Rob :) Sigh, we got busy lighting the wood stove moving space heaters, & making dinner. I printed out that page from the manual copy on my computer and testing part was not on there, thanks!! That, and our igniter only works sometimes, I light manually a lot though we don't turn the stove off often. And..... I had a hard time getting the handcuff bracket coupling thing back on the pipe to the exhaust blower last time I cleaned (a month or two ago). Much to look into, thank you.

Looks like the new Hand Sanitizer panic, is now Hamburger...
Wendy's... not selling burgers at many locations!!!
This morning at Market Basket (ours)
there was no pork, and very little beef.
    What's chicken?
They actually consolidated all of their meat products
into one small section of their total giant meat cases,
Maybe 30% of their normal capacity..
On the plus side.. They had PLENTY of TP!!

I saw the handwriting on the wall several weeks ago. Read an article about the meat packing industry getting many cases at once so I started buying meat. I saw what happened with the TP and sanitizer and figured if people found out that there might be a meat shortage, people would hoard. Every time we went to a grocery store we bought something. Not a lot at a time but over the weeks it added up. The most I ever paid was $10.99 a pound for Rib Eyes. Even today at Shaws they had sirloin tips for $4.99 a pound limit four packages. I now have a big freezer full to the brim with protein!

I don't have much of a freezer (bottom of my fridge) and that is filled with frozen vegies that had not been available at all for 4-5 weeks at our local Shaw's. I have been buying canned tuna and chicken as well as bags of dried beans. I don't eat that much meat anyway, so I have plenty of protein with those alternatives if I need it. When I went to the store last Friday, I picked up a package of those sirloin tips and ate them over the weekend. I also got a small package of chicken that is crammed in the freezer.

Fortunately stocking up for 1 is not difficult and I'm not a picky eater anyway. Glad I buy TP by the case, and I have a bunch still from the case I bought last year as our Shaw's hasn't had any since late March.

The MB in Plaistow was like that Sat when I went. We started buying fish, beef & chicken back in early March once I knew I'd be home for at least 6-8 (now looks like 10-12) weeks. We have a 7cu ft standup freezer and a small 5 cu ft fridge in addition to our big LG fridge w/bottom slide out freezer. Still have a good couple months of meats/fish left.
Saw my $1200 stimulus was deposited this morning when I looked online, Lori got hers last week.
