So good to have modern medicine. My dad had the x5 B. He then lost weight and went up and down stairs better than me. He had several good years after that.

Today me and the mrs took a ride down to the new cabelas in christiana, de. Picked up a new scope, some ammo, seasonings and a few other small things.

 

I hope everything goes well, we'll say a prayer.

I guess it has been over a year now, wow. Time flies. But my father in law was due to go in for surgery on his lung to remove a cancerous tumor. About a week before he was having chest pains. Had to go to the hospital and they told him he was having a heart attack. They moved him to Syracuse and decided to put off the cancer surgery and do triple bypass first. He had several partial blockages. 50%, and two that were equaling each other out that made them hard to detect, but they were even worse about 75-80%. The operation was a success. They did a great job. He needed three months to heal up and get strong enough, then they did the surgery on his lung, and then concentrated treatment on the spot with some type of radiation treatments. It is remarkable what they did and how well he has healed up. He was 76 when they did this. He is now 77 years old and doing well.

 

Going out of town again. Can't wait until I have a full weekend at home.

 

It is nice to be able to stay home and relax. I don't mind an occasional get away, changes up the routine then, and let's you do and see some things you don't normally do and see. I guess it depends on the occasion you are going out of town for. LOL. But anyway, make the best of it devilsbrew, and take some cool pictures to share with us.

I have to work part of the weekend. And I have to go out of town for part of the weekend! LOL. Picking up my wife's grandchildren, meeting their Mom half way will be about a 6 hour drive. They will be spending a few weeks at our house. We all can't wait to see them. There will be some extra activity around our house for a few weeks!

 

I wonder if there might be some time spent out ta camp...

 

Just getting ready to either cut or split some wood, after another cup of coffee I'll make my mind up.
