    File = one direction only !

    One of the first things that we teach the students in shop class , although you would be surprised at the number of people that have to be told this over and over again.

    For anyone thats not "good at" sharpening, the 2 in 1 sharpener is a huge improvement. It will also lead to better skills with just using a round file.

    Chainsaw files are designed to cut in one direction. I just got one of these 2 in 1 files to try out.

    This style guide trained me well.
    I don't feel the raker should be filed with light touch ups. I'm just not a fan of those jigs. We can agree to disagree.

    I will give the 2 in 1 file guide a chance if I don't like it I will just go back to my trusty Granberg file n joint.

    Here's a pic of some chips from a Apple log after sharpening wit Pferd 2 in 1 file I'd say it cuts pretty good!
