Cleaned the workshop today. Made a big dent in the mess but have at least 1/2 to go.
When I work in the house the tools usually migrate to the junk draw. Don't we all have one? My wife cleans out the junk draw periodically. She puts all my tools and what she doesn't know what to do with in a box and takes it out and sets it in the doorway of the shop. Let me deal with it. "Look honey, I got the draw cleaned real fast." The boxes get stacked up or shoved to the back of the shop. Finally started on those boxes. Not all the wire's problem. I will often throw every thing in a box when I am done working and it gets the same treatment.
It was like Christmas morning. What treasures I found.
Went from having to search for a tape measure to now having 5. No more searching for the correct screwdriver. I had to clean out an additional drawer in the tool box to accommodate the ones I found. Found 2 complete socket sets that had never been used. Many more treasures and I am only half through. Where to put the stuff? Running out off tool box space.
It is suppose to rain tomorrow so will be back out there. I hate to clean but am kind of looking forward to what I will find.
Forgot to mention. I have enough rolls of electric tape to last the rest of my life. :D

Awesome!! We are in the same position, except very little drawer space in here so I pile them in a box and said box gets shoved on a shelf in the garage :picard:I honestly cannot count how many rolls of electrical tape and teflon pipe tape I've bought over the last 30 years. Some day if we ever get though our rush move after selling our long time home (sold in 6 hours omg), never recovering from that and now the box song and dance we'll have a lifetime supply of those too

Sounds like my house! I have three or four of those drawers sort of catchall.
Recently cleaned out FIL's house now he had a lot of those drawers I have to find a place for all that :hair:. Lots of tools and mowers and a 12' x 20' shed I got the shed moved to my house now I have to get it in place. Hope the Kubota can handle it.

You laugh, but put one around each ankle and they won't be crawling up your legs - or so I've heard. Never done it myself (seriously, no, I haven't). I use essential oils too. When I used flea/tick collars on the pets, I used to use the cut off tail ends in my vacuum bags to kill any that got sucked up.

Adams was the bee's knees when I groomed pets (back in the 80's). Their dips, and collars worked well. I preferred Adams collars on my own pets and I never had an animal have a bad reaction - unlike some of the other stuff out there.

Well, here it is, the end of April.

Time to think about shutting down the OWB for another season. I'll have to check the extended forecast and then mention it nonchalantly to 99 lbs...…………… :heidi:

wildwest and JCMC , we have those drawers here too.

My wife calls then the utility drawers. I call them the "futility drawers". Lol
One of these days I'll go through them all.

Sorry, I suck at titles. You recommended a good thriller years ago and it was great. I'm up for anything newer. Sorry for the clear as mud answer.
