That light section on left is BL down from sandy, stacked two years ago. It just feels so nice in the hand. Oak above and below with maple to the right. Thats this years stack. The barely started one in front is for 16/17, that bit is BL as well. Got a hickory, two big white oaks, and lots of black birch to take down that will fill that row out.
Can't complain with what you got going on, not in the least. Some really nice hardwoods you have there, years of drying and all ready to go. Be proud of what you have done, looking good CR

That sounds like a good line up for sure. I see you even have some tires you can add if it really gets brutal this winter.
did about 6 cords last year that was half silver/norway maple so i think i am set this year. 15/16 is good to go. just gotta fill up 16/17 so i can work on 17/18 after moving 14/15 into the barn the end of this summer. whack em and stack em!
Nice looking wood you have there for sure! I never have had any BL in all the years I have been burning. I have to come here to FHC to experience it.

Like Pete said, we wish we had black locust here. But, we do have oak and some areas have beech. The ash is about done.
