Carpenter Wy. It is about 30 miles east of Cheyenne and about 20 west of Nebraska.

There is not a lot of trees around here. I scrounge some from Cheyenne and I go to the mountains for some. I have about 12 cord split and stacked here.

I get through that area a couple times a year, yep, no trees.

I've never run a 670, but I have a pair of early 630's. The 630's pull really, really well. Probably the strongest pulling stock 60cc saw I have run from the 80's/90's. I should probably run my 625's too. Pretty certain it was around 2015 for me as well.

Had 4 out today. Not much of workout for any of them. 701 did the falling, 026/260 some limbing and the new AM piston in the P100 got the bucking. P41 just hung out. I've been getting ahead of myself on the firewood. More time on hand than I am accustomed to, I guess. Fortunate that I can enjoy the projects, saws and mountains. Just a small load, it was more about running the machines.

    Just a couple observations Brad.....
    1. That is NOT your entire fleet
    2. I think that is 3 maybe, 4, new (at least to you) saws in like 3 months.
    3. never seen someone deteriorate so rapidly with CAD:hair::makeitrain"
I hope you’re not gonna blame me, (at least partially) for all this saw buying!
Looking forward to some cool family photos in the field, or woods, for you eastern boys.

I will take some of the weight off your shoulders hillbilly.
Looks like this CAD thing might be regional and especially bad around here.

It hit me hard with a MS661 and a ms362 and mild case of " Granberg" -itis before traveling up the road to poison BRAD.

Also just got a message from a co-worker and it looks like he also has CAD. It hit him hard with a 395xp yesterday.

Sure BRAD and I will be out soon.
Mother nature has NOT been helping here and next week looks like another dud unless you are a duck.

    1. You are correct. The Husky is missing. Didnt wanna be in the photo. Its now the shelf saw.
    2. Four saws since last July. 261 was a steal at $400 new last Summer. 028, 170, & 194 in the last month.
Doubt ill be using the whole fleet in one cutting/score. I did have four saws with me last Monday as i was supposed to do multiple tree removals with a cherry picker, but ground was too soft.

The 670 are strong runners too. If you like the 630 the 670 is the same just bigger. Some parts are getting scarce though.

5ADC8C4F-CD82-46DC-96BF-0B7F446C9B1D.jpeg 562XS in dead Oak yesterday. Working on two trees like this. Great stuff but it’s going to have to be lugged to the trail.

Husqvarna 50 special. The special was just a little bigger cc engine then the regular 50 and is the same size as the Husqvarna 51.
I got this saw free because the piston and cylinder is toast. I have a meteor piston on order and a knock off cylinder.

I gave you a "like" for the clean 50 and the Meteor, but not the Chinese part.

I’ve got one of these specials in line to hit the bench. Looks nearly as nice as yours. I know nothing about it yet.

Well there is not a lot out there for replacement cylinders or else I would have gone for it. We will see how it goes.

New type for me. I’ve read the 020T has a fan base.
    Still strong in the cut.
