I couldn't have done that load without help from my beautiful wife! No pictures, she's very camera shy!
Nice looking load of wood! What species? Welcome to the FHC buck brewer Lots of knowledge, info and humor here!
Cut a load today with a buddy from Oregon. He filled his truck and trailer, andhelped load me up. He’s paying me $100 to drive it up to him. Was headed that was to bring supplies to family and sell some auto parts. Combined trips are nice. Maybe I will find some cool junk to haul home with my empty trailer?
You had your folks in mind and did them a good turn. I like that! I'm sure your Dad expects to carry his end and will have fun swinging the Fiskars as he does it!
Long time listener.. first time caller. Buddy took down a tree and asked if I wanted any of it. Got two loads out with a little more to get yet. I think it’s ash but tree id isn’t my strong point.
Welcome to the forum kubotastihl Yup, thats ash. Nice load of firewood. Love me that old Ford as well!
Welcome KS! Yup, looks like ash. My dad had that same truck...only 460 gas...yours looks to be a 'stroke. My nephew has it now...it just got painted, F350 front axle, 6" lift and 38"s
New to me 7.3.. she is rusty, slow, and leaks a touch of fluid. it’s everything I needed in a wood truck! Even with her problems for 2grand I couldn’t turn her down!
Load of mostly catalpa i cut late this afternoon. Some lengths of red cedar underneath. See my thread Heading out to the Highway for more info
My father in law has the same truck. He loads his the same way. It’s amazing what you can put on those fords and they barely squat in the back. Nice lookin load you have there
