I had been chasing dead ash trees, but with the virus decided to make a focused effort at an acre surround my barn, by a heretofore creek you couldn’t see. Removed every dead tree or to closely placed sapling, maybe 100 yard of thicket and brush, and miles of creeper, grape, poison vines, cutting off what couldn’t be pulled down without tearing up tree. I plan the plant new hardwoods in this area for the next guy that will live here. Ready for epic wood day to gather up the piles Saturday
That’s awesome. We have a lot of thickets and poison ivy that I have hopes of clearing over time. Inspiring work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm right there with you looking out for the future. Trees are pretty dog gone renewable! Great source of O2.
Looked like it was quite a job clearing that up. Get in touch with MAF143...mebbe he can bring a 55 gallon drum or two full of walnuts over.
That is a lot of work clearing an area like that. Looks like Greg's got a good handle on it. Picking up and cleaning 1/2 a barrel of Black Walnuts was a job, and I had help... If you think I'm gonna pick up two drums of Walnuts, well then, You Got Another Thing Comin'... I'll be jamming to this all night long now... LOL That's a big GTG... can't image a group like that with chainsaws... LOL
