Day whatever this is, haven't paid that much attention to corona, but watching the economic destruction closely. Plan for today is to build some raised garden beds. Haven't ever gardened here due to poor soil & time constraints. Daughter & I are gonna grow a garden here this year as she's out of work & will have time to help tend them. It's going to interesting/concerning to see what happens with the food supply chain. I've got a beef quarter & hog half on the hoof at a friend's farm, so that'll refill the freezer for winter.

Our governor is probably still having nightmares even in the daytime. I tilled the garden yesterday and will do some planting today.

Your such a rebel! When do you typical direct show or transplant in your area?

Usually June 1st here, but last year was a week earlier

We used to always use Memorial day for the date but now it is more like May 15.

We typically use Memorial Day as a plan here as well. Maybe 1 week earlier or later depending on how the spring is. Only transplants would be tomatoes and green peppers if we do them at all, everything else is seed.

The cans are piling up here too. We only take them back a few times a year. Last time was probably in January. Typically I’d round up a bag of cans and run to the little store down the road, turn in the cans and top off a gas can with the proceeds.

I’m hoping a local Boy Scout troop or church group will have a can drive fundraiser. I can only imagine the lines at the return machines when they allow returns again.

Our local redemption center is open. They also sell beer. On the website they state that they are classified as essential.

Our recyclables are picked up every other week. Don't have to go any where.

Cut down some of those cottonwoods today around the pond . Hate those trees !
Used the grapple and piles them up out back . Big fire maybe in January. If you look closely in the pic you’ll see I had company . Lol

I see Wisconsin extended the stay at home until May 26th . The did open a few things from what I read . Lawn service with certain restrictions, golf but no carts and pro shops and club house cannot open , something about outside construction as well .
