I should have specified. Booze, as in bottles, are shelf stable so just buy it and stock up like any commodity that you expect to be able to sell/trade/need under a SHTF scenario. Separately, pr when the shelf stable booze stockpile runs out, you can brew beers, wine, meade, cider, or just "hooch" with anything sugary and a touch of yeast (even wild yeast sometimes).

I'm honestly not a wine guy so I don't know how stable it is but we all know of those cellars with 100 year old wine in them. Seems pretty shelf stable.

Every once in a while I take a month off of alcohol. No big deal. It's not a necessity but it is a valuable commodity.

Before, Next time I will have some masks on hand because I don't have any and I can't buy any , I do have a real respirator though , that I already had, I will use if necessary, see pic
I started stocking up on canned goods and other things at the end of February , something I found that some may not know about is, canned meet by this company in Lima, OH
Keystone Meats I have tried the beef , made beef and noodles with gravy , with it and it was great, the chicken is just good but not great , I have not tried the pork yet, they don't put any preservatives in it , just sea salt and meat , 5 year shelf life.
When I was at the store 3 weeks ago they didn't have even one can of it.

Beers and most (not all) home brewed wine are not really shelf stable. Acid level is the normal culprit. That is the difference between IPA's and lagers. The IPPAs made the trip because of the acids added by the hops.

Those half masks are much more comfortable and effective than an N95 anyway but as you can see they have an exhale valve so if you are sick this mask won't filter bugs out of your exhaust. There's a personal decision to be made about whether you care about protecting just yourself or protecting everybody.

Here's my kit. Two matching sets. Forest fires, dust from building collapses, volcanic ash, or bugs. Originally purchased for blowing in cellulose insulation which is super dusty.

I had a box of N95 masks in the shop but I found that the mice got into them and ruined them all

If I have to use it I will just tape one of the cloth filters over the exhaust valve , I do have a box of those

The problem I always had is that the little propane bottles worked fine so long as you used them right away. Otherwise, when you want to use another, you find it dead. Not sure why they would not hold the propane but I quickly stopped using them.

We can almost all of our venison. All we put with it is salt. 1 teaspoon in a quart of meat. We've kept some for 5 years but it no doubt would keep much longer as do vegetables.

These can hold 275 gallons of water and some are larger. They can be found used that had juice concentrate or food grade items. "Do not get ones that had chemicals" in them for obvious reasons. Water doesn't go bad and can be stored for years. A shot glass of Clorox a week in the tank is good for nearly ever as long as it doesn't get lots of sun light on it. I own one.

You do the math one gallon of 20% wine go to a 1/2 gallon of 40% then 1/4 gallon of 80% or about 1 quart of 151 ever clear. A gallon yields about a quart of good stuff.

    That is slow.

You will need other than bread grade yeast. Distillers stuff to get a strong enough wine else another distillation step or two.

Understood. I always thought there was a limit that you can distill, for personal use and be legal.

You can have a still, but can't distill alcohol at home, without special paperwork, regardless of amount.

    I'm always learning here. Thanks.
