Your so right on the money here

Years ago we took the 2 youngest (maybe 8 and 10 at the time) to see Rain. They LOVED it. For the next few months, the youngest kept telling people she saw the Beatles

The soft one has metal support bars across every few feet to support snow load with no issues whatsoever. The bars roll up with the cover.

We had a Chevy Avalanche with 3 hard covers that needed to be removed one at a time. Those were a PITA as you needed somewhere to store em.

I have seen some tri fold hard covers that fold up against the back window. Thats a good option to have and gives more security for things in the bed as the soft covers can be cut with a knife. Not as big an issue in our area but more so for higher crime areas. Although, my tailgate doesnt lock so there is no need to cut the cover.

Soooo, one side of the kitchen sink wasnt draining-time to take apart the plumbing and clean the crud. Get under the sink and its wet-one of the drain tail pipes was cut too short when they installed and it separates every so often. Luckily I had a reason to be under there and find it had done so again.

Figure its a good day ti fix this one and for all-replace the tail pipe with a properly cut piece. Off to Alton hardware to get the new piece and properly fit it in.

My setup needs a 1/2" dishwasher fitting. Nope the store doesnt have one but they do have a dishwasher tail pipe that I could make work, its just a little trickier than the single piece sink version.

Figure I would take a ride to Home Depot in Rochester to get the right piece, nothing else to do. Quick in and out without much interaction. WRONG, the place was packed and I had to ask someone where to find the part. Let me just say that the employees here are not taking social distancing seriously.

I dont consider myself paranoid about all of this, but I could not get out of this HD fast enough. And they didnt have my part so MacGiver time it is with the parts from Alton.

I don't how anyone can be bored working from home. Presumably, and I'm only going by my own experience, they still have as much work to get out - it may hjust be a bit tougher since you can't yell at Suzie in the next cubicle for a quick answer to a question. Heck, when I work from home I don't even get to go for my 2x/day walk (one at about 3 ours and one at lunch about 7 hours in). Okay that isn't true, for the last 3 weeks it has either been snowy, rainy and/or wind howling 40 mph and I just don't have incentive since I don't need to get away from people.

Been cutting my own hair for over 20 years... Of course a #1 buzz cut isn’t that hard to do and it’s been years since I tried to impress anyone with my looks. It just comes naturally.....

Haven't had anyone cut my hair at least since 2014. Even before then I would just go in once a year and I would maintain it from there. A little more challenging since my hair is about to my waist and my bangs feather. Picture taken just this morning (took a picture to show my mom my home made mask).

Not so sure its about boredom as much as interaction, especially if alone. Some do better than others on their own.

On the other hand, there is the "cooped up with the whole family" issue while everyone is trying to either work or school at different age levels all at once one the internet and with no teachers. Even The Waltons squabbled LOL

To be fair, the panther's head isn't centered on the kerchief, much less its mouth. So my knot would have to be at an ear instead of in the center at the back of my head.

spent the weekend working on my Pavilion project at the museum. nothing else to do. Son Dave and Grandson Landon were out on Saturday, and Sunday I worked by myself, although there were a couple other guys out there.

We have an 07 Avy and I agree about the storage of the Tonneau panels....New there was a heavy bag to store the panels in and lash them to the front side of the box...

    Poor design IMHO
I bought the rig because of the "Cool Factor" A suburban can haul more except if the item is too tall or can't be laid down....

Still the Avy is a cool little truck....
