First time I’ve seen multiple overlapping Tornado warnings. Hope everyone is ok. 80mph winds should bring down the trees though.

We had a lot of lightning, thunder, and rain. In laws had dime size hail about 15 miles northeast of us. So far so good, but some crazy spring weathers on the prowl. They were talking about it on the radio today and my 5 year old got so worried! Told her they were very rare in Michigan. She’ll probably never trust me again if we got hit with one tonight:hair::wacky:

I haven't seen anything new down up here around the house, but I'm sure there are some new "surprises" back in the woods. After storms like last night with the winds, there usually is. Last week over by the neighbors, six medium trees came down in our wood when one uprooted from the ground being so saturated. They just happened to be out in the yard and saw it happen and called me. They said it was like dominoes. He said they were out of wood for their outdoor wood boiler and wanted to know if he could cut some of it. I said sure. So they're burning wet soggy HL and Tulip Poplar this week. :picard:And over in the other field I have Ash down that needs CSS to get it up off the ground and I've offered some of that to them.

I'm trying to get him ahead of the game cuz he does help me out some in the woods but he keeps insisting that green wood is just fine in an OWB. I did get him to come over and cut up a small trailer load of EAB standing dead Ash last evening that I had dropped back in the clearing area. It helps them and gets some of the dead stuff out of my way. I have way more wood than I have time to get to anyway. I'm trying to get them on the 3 year plan instead of the 1 or 2 week plan.

Just finished walking the fence line, 2 tops and 3 smaller eab ash. Now that we know the cows are safely contained, off to work. Will be interesting to see what else came down further in.

Fortunately we don't hear of many tornadoes in our area plus we seem to be in an area where the storms usually miss us. That is good except in summer when we need some rain. It is not uncommon for people just to our east who may get an inch or more of rain in summer while we get nothing or maybe a sprinkle.

Last night, we got about 10 sprinkles before dark. We could hear thunder in the distance as one storm was going to our south and another to our north.

Mainly high straightline winds here...and a lot of it! And some hail...no real damage here that I can find though. Now a few miles NE of here they were saying there may have been a F1 tornado down for a bit...haven't watched the news yet, so not sure about damage.
The whole thing blew through really quickly!

They made the forecast out to be the end of the world. It looked like they were getting hammered North and east of me.
We had quit bit of lightening and a brief period of rain and wind. nothing out of the ordinary.
I didn't see any damage on my way to the beer store today.
