Reminds me of the time we packed up from a camping trip, and realized my keys were in the pocket of the pants I wore the day we arrived a week ago... Had to unpack just about everything to get to them.

In the mean time, I found a great tool for unloading my truck without climbing in on my knees...

You can see it in the barn pic:picard: 6B720BDC-286E-4BEF-87A2-0125E178B245.jpeg

Definitely not the manufacturers intended use of the truck . Definitely have to baby her back to the house. Paid 2300 for the truck probably 6 or 7 years ago and use it pretty exclusively for firewood. The beauty of a firewood beater.

It was too windy to be out in the woods this evening so I cut up some Ash that I had drug out into the field down front a week or so ago. Then a buddy came over to have me sharpen his saws. I showed him how because he had never sharpened a chain before. He was surprised how easy it was and by the second saw, he was doing pretty good with the file on his own. He has some EAB killed Ash in his yard at home that we were planning on cutting later this summer. He called when one blew over this evening. Fortunately it was well away from the house and nothing was damaged.

Don't worry, social distancing was adhered to...

Ash is my favorite firewood overall.

My truck saw some bump stop action this week. Three loads, two of which were very heavy.

I find With my bigger truck and trailer,?I loose motivation before capacity. I mounted a hft receiver for hooking the splitter to the end of the trailer when out on the property. Makes it much easier. All in all just over a cord, all split, stacked and done.
