I have a BIS ultima stove , it has the air tubes in the upper part of the fire box, cleaning it up this year one of the panels broke. They fit back together tight would you replace or try and run it??

sounds like a vermiculite panel above the secondary tubes. I'm not familiar wit that stove, pics would help
So long as it stays together and doesn't gap when running the stove your fine. You might try patching the break with stove cement.
I looked your baffle up on a fireplace distributor for parts. They don't say in the description what the 2 piece baffles are made of for your particular unit. My guess is ceramic or vermiculite. The ceramic would be fairly heavy and the vermiculite is hardly any weight to it. There may be an insulating blanket above it as well. The item is about $190 US plus shipping. Not sure if it can be repaired or not.
If it were my stove, I'd replace. Im kind of that way though. Its not going to get any better..... you could cement, but since its the off season, why not replace. See what others suggest, that may be more familiar with your paticular setup. Good luck!
I broke the baffles on my nc30, being hamfisted. I used these folks for replacement boards, IIRC it was about half as much as buying from Englander, you'd probably have to cut them to fit. They have some rigidizer that you can paint on also, I didn't get the rigidizer and the boards I got from them are holding up fine in my stove. http://skylinecomponents.com I gave the leftover bits of board to the local school, the IA teacher does a lot of ceramics and he uses the board to fire the kids artwork on.
As tight as those still fit, you would likely be fine. Englander 30's come with a gap that exceeds a 1/4" and still work fine. That said, I bought 1/2" board from the link that Dave posted above (skyline) and it was much cheaper and works great I couldn't deal with that 1/4" gap
