If that trunk is still there, I’m more than willing to knock it over.

I need a baby bar for the 590. Then learn how to make a fast chain. I enjoyed playing in the cants at my first GTG.

Friend was given this saw. He did some work to it and it runs great. Appears to have been barely used. Curious about the age and value of this saw. He does not need it and does not know what to do with it. Any ideas?

Looks just like the old Poulan Woodsman 1800 I used to have only with Craftsman badging. Does he have the carb cover / choke assembly that holds the air filter in? Bar says 2.3 so it was a bit bigger than mine.

I wish I had never sold mine. It was a great little lightweight saw that I used walking around the woods getting rid of vines, brush, and girdling trees. Probably early to mid 90's. Not a powerhouse, but I heated our house with it for a couple years before picking up an 041 farm boss.

It did make my hands tingle from the vibe though if you used it for long.

Model # 358357181 is on the back. I looked up the number but I can't find much regarding history or age.
