Got to work on the trees we took down to put in our driveway for a few hours today. Hopefully will get to fire up the splitter tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It might be time to take the chains in to a pro, Seems like I can only get them so sharp with the hand file. I don't seem to make it a full tank before i'm seeing mostly sawdust
Probably a good idea but if you do, then don't cut more than a tank full of gas before you sharpen and you should not have a problem keeping the same angles. And don't forget the depth gauges or rakers.
This ^ ^ ^ Stihl 2 in 1 will help you with that, a lot. 2 in 1 Filing Guide & Saw Chain Sharpener Heck, I mowed yesterday...some people did it a week ago already around here!
Nothing wears you out more than a dull chain! Been there done that. My reset button is the grinder. Seems to take more material, but sometimes a good option.
Got out for a couple hours to get started on this big oak top! Couldn’t pass up the weather. Plan to finish it and haul tomorrow.
Family worked together on cleaning mommas flower beds out this morning. Then my wife and I did some burning behind the house. Then she had to go run some ESSENTIAL errands, so the kiddos and I went to retrieve the load I started yesterday.....all in a days work! Good day! I’ll get the pic over to the overloaded thread too buZZsaw BRAD
Got time with the splitter tonight, excited to see what took a little over a year and a half accumulate before we lived on the property, has only taken 5 mos to refill. Should be on to year two before the end of the month. Also had some helpers that were excited for tractor time before bed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
