Had a nice score from neighbor who cut red oak and sweetgum..he even hauled over and put in my yard w his lawn tractor. Split oak then sweetgum. U know the sweet was fun splittn!@#$%. Then next morning walking w my wife, a new neighbor who we did not really know as they had moved in earlier last fall had 2 white oaks felled Las Dec. He was outside and I got a chance to say hi and introduce our selves. I asked of course about the 2 huge trunks of white sitn in his yard and he said take it if u want it. So my wife n I went and cut it up for my older friend george whos also a wood hoarder but is disabled, and took the other half. Sweet weekend!! Love the white swamp oak.. splits like a seam burns like a dream! Pic of my old quad I've had since I was 15... my ole honda.. Well in the end, This is what happened.
Yes it is...but its wood and it heats a garage well bro.. especially when u have a wonderful father in law who like to burn while sittn in garage sippn n smokin when he's here .. lol
Nice! Love me some white oak. If i ever access to gum again, ill give you all of it! Doesnt hurt to ask...worse they can say is no. Now your name is out and about and can lead to more wood scores. Great theold 4 wheeler still works and its put to good use!
