Full tilt stove tonight

    I only put 3 Bradford pear splits in the castine tonight, currently the outdoor temps are 37°F, and laying in bed smelling the super hot stove smell. I go out to check it and sure enough it was in the red on the stovetop thermometer. The air was open less than 1/4, and I had to close it all the way. Never burned Bradford pear, but man does it have some btu's!

    Fruit trees normally have some good BTU's. But good for you, for double checking your better senses.

    That smell is unmistakeable.
