Well...seems we have the time now with the world shut down.

What are you getting done that you put off for...ever?

Right where I want to be.
Charged the tractor battery since I haven't started it all winter. Let that run for a few minutes while I got the saw ready to cut, then worked on some logs.
Went in the shop and ran a few Walnut boards through the jointer. I'm starting to think the last of the walnut is beyond hope.
Enough snow melted that I may be able to get the splitter out and get some of the rounds done tomorrow.
Another day staying home and safe....like always.

Milling, firewooding, lots of chain filing..

We’re not jumping into renovations with both feet to make sure the finances stay good. I really really wanna remodel our living room. It’s been 10+ years of patience. Time has come.

I finally re-applied treatment to my Filson Tin Cloth jacket today. It's 10 years old.

I am tackling my sewing room re-organizing. It was too overwhelming to do in one day so I am getting a little bit done each day. Tomorrow is the sewing desk full of odd bits from projects. At least I have the floor cleared off now. Ironing board is still loaded and so is the chair just outside the room but I am getting there.

I've been cleaning up the yard, and making firewood, but today is my husband's last day at work. So next week I'll probably have to work on organizing the basement. It will be his new domain, and he covets the space where my junk resides.

He bought one of those back teeter thingies, so that's down there, and he's planning to build some contraption out of 2x4's (mine, that I bought for wood racks). At least the drum set is going away.

he's going to build you a jail cell out of 2x4's, and then work on reclaiming his back yard while you're in timeout!

I've been after my wife for so long that I don't remember when it started but she has finally agreed that maybe we can clean up the junk room. But first we have to at least make a path so we can get into the room... This is not going to be fun but needs to be done.
