Has anyone heard about GM offering 0% financing for up to 84 months?

That splains it. I don’t watch the boob tube much. I wonder what the catch is. If you are 20 seconds late on one payment the loan reverts back to 6% and is retroactive to the beginning? o_O:handshake::rofl: :dex::loco:

The catch is that you have to have a score of over 900 to qualify. Also, they add the interest into the price of the vehicle.

The catch is they get you to buy a $70,000 dollar truck and you get to pay for it for the rest of your life. I got a 72 month 0% loan on my Ford Edge and it seems like the payments will never end! LOL

Yes. I was talking with my brother about it. I took an auto loan calculator and put $50,000 in for 84 months at 0%. If I remember right it still came to $643/mo.!

That is why I buy used trucks.

Exactly...prices become much less negotiable if they get wind that you are looking at using the 0% financing.
You'd be better off to go in and negotiate for a cash deal and then pull the switcheroo on them in the finance office...they do it to people all the time, so I wouldn't feel the least bit bad about doing that...especially if you have the credit score to pull it off...they will tell you they can't...BS! If they want to sell another vehicle they'll do it...the 0% program is through the manufacturer, not the dealer, so its no skin off their rears.
Now, that does not change the fact that buying new vehicles is one of the worst "investments" that you can make...where else can you spend a years wages, come back an hour later and your "investment" is worth 10% less...every time! And a year later its down 25%, maybe more!

Back in '95 my brain took a leave of absence and I spent a year selling vehicles at a local new car dealer...I loved selling their "program cars"...they were usually 1-2 years old, 10-25k miles, and the balance of the 3 yr/36k mile warranty still on them...about half price of a new model. A much better value for the customer than a new car...and it was win/win too because we made more selling those than we did on a new car! :handshake:

Rain this morning. It might be a good time to wash the back deck. Might be, I said. I don't know if I am going to do it or not. The worst corner of my sewing room still needs to be tackled. I got one half of the floor vacuumed yesterday. Maybe cleaning the deck seems like a better idea.

    Psalm 46:1-3
1 God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

I think I'm all out of piddly projects around the house....I could either just take it easy for a while or tackle something big. I think we all know how this will end up.

    Pine is fine!

Here's my cutting buddy's pine fest. I helped limb. That's one reason I broke out the lighter weight 029s vs the dolkita 6421 just walking is a PITA. A slightly lighter saw helps a lot.

The row of white pine goes quite a way.

He then had the lumber logs hauled away. 10.7 cords I think he said. Pulp logs next, another 10 cords of that. Resized_20200325_122641(1).jpeg

Where's the mayonnaise? I need to remove sap from my saw.
