This is a very good recipe that provides good leftovers. The recipe is from Youtube, and it is worth the watch. They have a good channel with some informative videos from raising chickens, gardening to firewood processing. I struggle with boiling the potatoes, sometimes under cooking them. I do slice them thin after being boiled. Polska kielbasa substituted since we don't have farm fresh sausage. Havarti and cheddar cheese topping. Lots of onions, some butter, salt and black pepper. It is a pretty simple recipe. Baked at 350 degrees for a half hour or so. This makes great breakfast leftovers.
Looks sehr gut , cook the tatties a day before. you can leave the peel on and boil them as a whole. To avoid undercooking, poke them with a knife.
I do boil them and poke 'em with a knife. Just the larger potatoes take a bit longer that's where I need to be patient with cooking them.
Well done so to speak, didnt mean to be a smartash I heard a few cold ones while cooking brings the patients though.
Thats true not very common around here. We had some homemade stuff 2 years ago i think, those glasses got empty in no time. So what recipe will be next?
No big plans. With the travel restrictions just put in place, we are keeping just basic food and simple cooking right now.
